In February 2017, the umbrella agreement was signed that will add more than 12,000 new housing units to the city of Ofakim.
Some of them are detached buildings and some are high-rise construction, in buildings up to 13 floors.
Mayor of Ofakim Itzik Danino did not rest from the moment he took office.
And its overarching goal is to triple the number of residents in the city by 2028.
In the south of the city, there is an area of about 35 dunams in which the zoning plan for detached houses has been approved.
In order to settle the area, the mayor turned to the ‘Meni Group’ company to help him carry out his wishes.
